People power frees man from train gap



Commuters teamed up to free a man whose leg became caught between a Perth-bound train and a platform this morning.
A Transperth spokesman said the man’s left leg became stuck when he boarded the train at Stirling station about 8.50am.
Passengers were first instructed to move to the other side of the train in an attempt to transfer the weight of the carriage away from the man’s leg.
When this failed, passenger Nic said everyone was told to exit the train.
